Every National Day, Singaporeans watch the flag rise at the Padang and remember the same childhood dream – to be the one raising it. It was always reserved for prefects, which meant most of us never got the chance.
Raise the Flag is a boliao initiative that finally changes that – allowing every Singaporean a chance to fulfil that dream of celebrating their own slice of national pride on August 9th.
